On Friday, September 30, students from schools of the Policki District took part in educational workshops at the Cross-Border Ecological Education Centre in Zalesie.
The workshop was held in connection with the accession of the Policki District to the project "Improvement of energy efficiency in school buildings in the Policki District". The workshops were attended by students of the I. Łukasiewicz School Complex in Police, the Special School and Educational Centre No. 1 in Police and the Youth Educational Centre in Trzebieży.
The educational workshops introduced the students, among other things, ways of obtaining energy and ecological habits.
The project "Improving Energy Efficiency in School Buildings in the Polish District" is financed from Norwegian funds and is implemented at the I. Łukasiewicz School Complex in Police, the Special School and Education Centre No. 1 in Police and the Youth Education Centre in Trzebieży.
Its main objective is to improve the energy efficiency of school buildings by supporting comprehensive investment measures consisting of deep thermomodernization and undertaken to bring school buildings to a “passive” or “near zero emission” energy standard.
